How To Make Western Porridge
What is Western Porridge? Western Porridge is a dish that is made from oats, milk, and sweetener. Oats are typically rolled into small pieces and cooked in water until they reach the desired texture. The porridge can be served hot or cold with toppings such as brown sugar, honey, raisins or fresh fruit. Eastern porridges include rice noodles (hakka noodles) which are usually served with vegetables and meat for flavor. Rice grains can also be ground to make flour for breads and desserts but it’s more common to grind them into powder form for use in traditional Indian dishes like dosa pancakes.
